Built by musicians who ran out of napkins
We're a small band of working musicians, arrangers, and self-taught theory nerds who got tired of scribbling chord changes on napkins and hotel notepads. Chichord: Acoustic Harmonic started as our own private tool for logging progressions between rehearsals, and we decided it was too useful to keep to ourselves.
Our mission is simple: give composers, jazz players, and acoustic guitarists a distraction-free space to think in intervals. No playback engines fighting for your attention, no bloated audio suite standing between you and the idea in your head — just a clean surface for structuring harmony the way your brain actually works.
Inside, you'll find a Chord Progression Matrix for building out verse-to-chorus sequences, an Acoustic Extension Log for tracking your favorite altered and dominant voicings, and an Interval Frequency Calc for working out scale degrees and transposition math by hand. Everything lives in a dark, low-glare dashboard built for late-night writing sessions, and everything stays fully offline — your ideas never leave your device.

Information We Collect
None. The App does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email address, does not request location access, and runs no analytics. Every root note, chord matrix entry, extension log line, and interval calculation you type stays exactly where you typed it — on your device.
How We Use Information
Because nothing is collected, nothing is used, analyzed, aggregated, or sold. There is no server-side processing of your progressions and no behavioral profiling. Every feature runs entirely on-device.
Data Storage
All entries, logs, and saved sequences are stored locally in the App's private storage on your device. There is no cloud sync, no remote database, and no transmission of your musical notes to any external server.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates no third-party analytics kits, advertising networks, crash reporters, or tracking SDKs. It does not connect to MIDI hardware, external instruments, or any online matchmaking or marketplace service.
Data Security
Because your information never leaves your device, there is no server-side breach surface to protect. Standard operating-system sandboxing keeps your local App data isolated from other apps on your phone or tablet.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. With no data collection mechanisms anywhere in the App, it is inherently compliant with COPPA and similar child-privacy regulations.
Your Control
You are always in complete control of your data. Every chord log, extension entry, and saved progression can be edited or deleted at any time. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all associated local data — there are no backups or linked accounts.
Changes to This Policy
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features or clarify existing language. Any changes will be posted within the App, along with a revised effective date at the top of this page.
